We collect information that is necessary to provide you with appropriate healthcare and to manage the services we provide. Your health information may be used or shared with other healthcare providers involved in your care where this is appropriate and permitted by law.

HealthOne
Please note that our practice contributes to and accesses healthcare information through HealthOne.
HealthOne is a secure electronic health record that allows registered healthcare professionals directly involved in your care to access relevant health information. This may include information such as:

• test and investigation results;

• allergies;

• medications;

• GP summaries; and

• hospital and other relevant healthcare information.

HealthOne operates in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Health Information Privacy Code 2020. Access to HealthOne is through an approved secure healthcare information network, and access is subject to security controls, auditing and monitoring.

Privacy auditing is undertaken to help ensure that health information is accessed only by authorised healthcare professionals for appropriate purposes related to your care.

Accessing or correcting your information
You have the right to request access to the personal and health information we hold about you and to ask for information to be corrected if you believe it is inaccurate.
